It was quite a hard sight to handle. The driver that hit her had driven away but there was someone there who had called 911. I guess I meant Glad he was alive. I've heard too many stories like this. We had a 5th grader in our town killed a few years ago in a car accident because the car swerved to avoid a deer and the child was not wearing his seat belt. So very sad. Again - glad Bear lived!
